exploring the principles of design through fertography
Balance

This picture I got from the pin board demonstrates balance as its very simplistic but has unity in the picture. To add on the pictures elements don't weighted against each other on different sides of the design to create cohesiveness
Emphasis

This picture represents the element of Emphasis as between the wooden area the unique pencil sharpener is the only thing there. The only thing that is the main focus of the picture is the pencil sharpener focus in the main part of the picture.
Contrast
The picture I took from the classroom shows the design element of contrast due to the drawing having visual elements placed close together noticeably different from each other. For example in the drawing it has different highlights creating exciting graphics and creates a dynamics from each shaded part making a unique design contrasting each other.
The picture is showing the design of patterns because the papers are put in a way that is repeating itself. A patterns is defined as "repeated decorative design" and the picture perfectly shows that drawing the eye to it to focus.
This final picture that I took from the class is showing the design of Proportion as the size of elements in relation to one another. The electric box and the other smaller electric box(I don't know what the smaller gray box is) is showing Proportion due to the placement making it seem like it's growing large, small to large.
